Client Experience &
Content Manager
This role is for the person who can walk into a client relationship with confidence and walk away having made their brand unmistakably better. As the primary point of contact for your client roster, you'll blend thoughtful account management with compelling content—keeping clients connected, informed, and showing up beautifully across every channel that matters.
Primarily Remote
Flexible Schedule
Creative Autonomy
Serene MKTG is a boutique creative agency specializing in marketing for interior design, home, and lifestyle brands. We're looking for a Client Experience & Content Manager who can do two things exceptionally well: hold a client relationship with genuine care and professionalism, and produce content that makes a brand feel alive online.
This is not an entry-level role. You'll own a roster of up to four clients—serving as their primary point of contact while executing across social media, email, and content marketing. You'll work closely with our lead strategist and loop in support from the broader team when needed, but your clients will look to you as their trusted agency partner.
If you have real agency experience, a strong creative voice, and the kind of communication habits that make clients feel genuinely taken care of—we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Own:
Client Experience & Account Management
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for up to four client accounts
Manage all client email communications with consistency, warmth, and professionalism—clients should never feel like they're chasing you
Lead a monthly marketing meeting per client to review performance, align on goals, and maintain momentum
Execute the strategy set by our strategist, ensuring all content and efforts stay on brief and on track
Identify and communicate upsell opportunities that genuinely serve each client's growth
Proactively nurture client relationships to support long-term retention
Social Media Management
Build and manage monthly content calendars with a thoughtful mix of posts, Reels, Stories, and video
Write on-brand captions with strong hooks, clear CTAs, and strategic keywords
Schedule and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, Threads, etc
Engage authentically with client audiences—responding to comments and DMs and fostering real community
Monitor analytics and apply insights to refine and improve performance over time
Stay current on trends in both the design/lifestyle space and the broader social media landscape
Content Marketing
Design and write branded email newsletters
Ensure all email content aligns with active campaigns and accurately reflects each client's brand voice
Track and report on email performance metrics including open rates, clicks, and unsubscribes
Support broader content needs as they arise—blog formatting, occasional marketing copy, campaign support
You're the Right Fit If You:
Have 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role at a marketing or creative agency—this is a firm requirement, not a preference
Have hands-on experience managing social media and content for interior design, home, or lifestyle brands
Are a confident, proactive communicator—your clients always know where things stand, and your team always knows where you stand
Can write fluidly across multiple brand voices without losing what makes each one distinct
Have experience with FloDesk or a comparable email marketing platform
Have a sharp aesthetic eye and a genuine appreciation for interiors, design, and visual storytelling
Can independently manage a four-client workload without things slipping—you don't need to be micromanaged to stay on top of things
Thrive in a flexible, remote environment and take ownership of your schedule and your output
This Role Is Not The Right Fit If You:
Are newer to agency work or still building your client communication skills
Need significant guidance on how to manage your time and workload across multiple accounts
Have worked in-house only and haven't navigated external client relationships before
Struggle to write in voices other than your own
What to Expect:
Part-time: 15–29 hours per week (with the opportunity for growth)
Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings, photoshoots, or collaborations (if local to our area)
Flexible schedule with the opportunity to grow hours over time
Work with a small, intentional team that values craft, clarity, and genuine connection
Collaborate with clients in the interior design and home space who care deeply about how their brand shows up
Compensation: $42–$55/hour depending on experience
